How Much for an Emergency Fund
An emergency fund is designed to protect you in case you lose your job. As talked about in an earlier post, how much should you have is debatable. Everyone has his or her own opinion on how much that should be. To help you out we have created a spreadsheet to show you how much you will need based upon your spending plan. We built upon the spending plan worksheet and the debt ratios worksheet. If you fill out your spending plan correctly, then how much you will need on a monthly basis automatically updates for you.
